• The Newport Plums Estate is a one-of-a-kind estate house located walking distance from downtown Sandpoint with all of its outstanding award-winning restaurants and shops. SUMMER STAY FUN There is a lot to do in Sandpoint during the Summer. From the Festival in downtown to Lost In the 50s car show event, this estate home is located in the heart of all the action, and is truly a one-of-a-kind property in South Sandpoint. The Junior Olympic size pool includes an outside bar area with resort style pool furniture and an outdoor TV. Located 9 miles from the Idaho Club golf course, and across the street from the Third Street Pier and a short walk to the long bridge. We are also located a few blocks away from the Sandpoint Marina and also the boat launch at Memorial Field so guests may bring their boats and watercraft. Come see why lake life in the summer is the best life! Past groups that have stayed during the winter have raved how they get to enjoy the "best of both worlds" that Sandpoint has to offers during the winter. The house is walking distance from the award-winning restaurants, pubs and bars in Downtown Sandpoint which are far better than the limited offerings at Schweitzer Village which also close way too early. For those skiers looking to complement their long days on the slopes with a great hot tubbing experience, this is the place to stay. We are the only home in Sandpoint that has a Diamond Spa custom made stainless steel jacuzzi which (as you can see from the pictures) is sheltered from the elements under a fiberglass roof and can seat up to 8 people. Winter guests have described our jacuzzi as the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the slopes with beer and/or your wine in hand and stars above. The house and outdoor area by the jacuzzi has been wired for music throughout with a newly installed AV sound system that comes with XSMR and can be accessed your IOS devices as well to play your preferred playlists. Also, we have installed a brand new outdoor stainless steel gas grill and griddle adjacent to the jacuzzi, which is also depicted in the picture. So guests can now to choose to prepare their own meals inside or out. Our owners, Melissa and Brian Kramer, love managing this unique property and making sure that our guests experience is outstanding. This very spacious house and is packed with modern amenities, and is set up for executives who need to get some work done with high speed internet to facilitate Zoom calls and a high speed printer. CHECK IN at 4:00pm and CHECK OUT at 10:00am. ENJOY ALL THE BEST SANDPOINT HAS TO OFFER IN THE WINTER. The house is ideal for groups coming to enjoy Schweitzer Mountain. Enjoy the best of both worlds as the estate is only 7.5 mile drive to Schweitzer Mountain Resort and three blocks away from downtown Sandpoint. While things shut down at the Schweitzer village at sundown, you can enjoy all the downtown shops, restaurants and bars (and, of course, the Panida Theater) late into the evening. Also, there are far more restaurants and pubs downtown to choose from than the limited options at Schweitzer Village. For the serious winter sports enthusiasts there is no better place in Sandpoint to enjoy a fantastic hot tubbing experience than in our new stainless steel Diamond Spa Jacuzzi that sits up to eight people under a covered gazebo. Life doesn't get much better than enjoying our jacuzzi with a glass of wine, beer or even hot chocolate in hand and gazing at the stars after having spent the day on the slopes of Schweitzer. There is a bus service to Schweitzer that picks up and drops off one block from the house if you don't want to drive or if the younger ones in your group can't wait to get up to the mountain! Note that our pool is shut down for winterization every year from mid-October through sometime in May so it is not available for guests during this period. The front of the house includes a circular driveway that has a front gate system to assure privacy. ***The living/dining room has two 16-foot long accordion doors which opens up the living room and dining room to the pool deck and pool and makes for a perfect venue for summer events as these doors enable seamless indoor-and-outdoor living. ***A home theater room. ***Guests can use Apple Airplay to play their music in house. ***Our 50's themed game room includes a classic Brunswick pool table and antique Coke and Pepsi machines and a 75" flat screen TV. ***Our newly remodeled kitchen is made for entertaining. There is a wine cooler, two separate sinks, two refrigerators, two ovens including a brand new 7 Series Viking Range and Hood, and it is fully stocked with glasses, utensils, plates, and includes two coffee machines and several ice making machines. ***All bedrooms are spacious; the main bedroom area is over 1,000 square feet with a huge walk in shower, marble tub and large walk-in closets. ***2 Separate laundry rooms on the first and second floors - all new washers and dryers. ***Smart August entry lock system allows for guests to use their own selected 4 to 6 number digit code to unlock the home during their stay. ***Newly installed sound system throughout the home!
