The secluded property is ideally located just minutes from Woodstock, Vermont, and perfectly positioned between Killington and Okemo—an unbeatable location for guests wanting to enjoy both premier ski mountains. A private one-mile, access-controlled driveway winds through forest and open fields, arriving at the late 18th-century brick farmhouse, enhanced with refined 21st-century additions. An Old-World, European-inspired courtyard welcomes guests with entrances to the main residence, guest suites, formal gardens, and direct access to the estate’s helipad.

This gracious 27,000 sq. ft. estate includes a library, breakfast room, private office, formal living room, family room, gourmet kitchen, 17 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, arcade game room, theatre, gym, entertainment barn, and pool.

Reading Farms Estate is an exceptional experience for weddings and events. Set on 400 pristine gated acres with no noise or time restrictions, the estate offers a rare level of freedom in Vermont—when you’re hosting an event, you shouldn’t have to end it at 10 PM.

Event pricing varies based on size and duration.

Additional Services & Accommodations

A private on-site chef and daily housekeeping are available—please inquire for pricing. The base rate varies by date and includes up to 20 guests; additional guest fees apply beyond that number. The property sleeps up to 46 guests in total. Holiday periods may include higher minimum stays.

The Entertainment / Living Barn and Red Cottage carry separate fees. The Red Cottage may be rented on its own for smaller getaways or added to the main estate at a discounted rate. Please review floor plans before booking to ensure they meet your group’s needs. Barn and Cottage bedrooms are not included with the main house rental unless added for an additional fee.
