What is the best way to reach Islas Secas from Panama City?
We recommend taking our private resort plane (a beautifully-designed 16-seater Twin Otter) for the easiest and most convenient journey. We are happy help arrange accommodation in Panama City for the night before your stay, as well as transfers to the resort.
Can I host my wedding at Islas Secas?
Yes, we love to host weddings at Islas Secas, offering bespoke wedding experiences for two to 32 guests, ranging from intimate elopements to full private-island celebrations.
Is my marriage legally recognized in Panama?
Civil ceremonies can be arranged offsite for legal recognition. Most couples choose to complete legal formalities at home and hold a symbolic ceremony on the island.
Is there an onsite wedding planner or coordinator?
Yes. Our Director of Hospitality provides personalized event planning and coordination to ensure every detail of your celebration is seamless. Clients sometimes work with their own wedding planner, we will coordinate with your point person.
What wedding locations and venues are available at Islas Secas?
Ceremonies and receptions can be held at a variety of remarkable locations including Canales Beach, Casa Cavada, the Terraza, and the Mango Pool. Pargo Beach also offers a spectacular location for a beach day with your guests.
What is the recommended dress code?
Elegant island attire is ideal, light, breathable fabrics and barefoot or flat footwear for beach settings. Formalwear is welcome for evening receptions.
Will there be a wedding itinerary provided for guests?
Absolutely. You will receive a hyper-personalized itinerary, outlining ceremony times, celebrations and optional activities for guests.
Are children welcome at Islas Secas weddings?
Yes. Children are welcome when part of a private celebration or full property buyout. Please note that our Casitas have pools and balconies, and we do not provide nanny services.
