Our private 10 BR estate overlooks the mountains sleeps 28 and is perfect for a large family gathering or group of friends looking to escape from the city. The home is professionally cleaned from top to bottom after each stay and offers total seclusion from the world yet is still close to the best Southern Vermont has to offer! Located in a quaint rural Southern Vermont town, your group can spend quality time together and be entertained with multiple TVs, screaming fast internet, game room, hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, central AC and more.

The Space

The main house has 9 gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms. It also includes a spacious family room with a fire place and stove, dining room, kitchen, a breakfast nook and a common area.

The guest/game house has a play room with a wet bar, pool table, ping pong, soccer table, cards table and sauna. An additional spacious bedroom is on the second floor overlooking the surroundings and the tennis court, which brings the total number of bedrooms to 10!

Outdoor amenities include a tennis court, a swimming pool, a Hot Springs Grande hot tub and an outside fire pit. On the back deck is a huge Weber gas BBQ, a Summit, and we provide the propane! The property includes several miles of private trails and are great for hiking and bird watching.

We have recently upgraded the internet, it is now scorching fast! Speeds measure 350mbps down and 100mbps up, making this a perfect place for a work-from-home retreat!

The caretaker Tamara lives 5 minutes from the property and can help you if you have any questions or show you around so you will immediately feel at home away from home.

The Perfect Day

Wake up after a refreshing night of sleep in one of our ten exquisite bedrooms and enjoy a brunch in the breakfast nook while your party plans a day of fun and relaxation. Hit the slopes and shred some snow, set up an impromptu tennis tournament on the private court, or walk the miles of private trail in search of that rare bird.

After a day of exercise and fun, go for a relaxing and refreshing swim in the pool, steam your muscles in the sauna, or go for a soak in the hot tub, all the while taking in the gorgeous mountain views. Use the fully stocked kitchen to prepare a scrumptious feast, or head into town and let someone else do the cooking. End the day by the fire and gather around with your favorite beverage and companions while sharing stories to the sound of crackling wood.

The Neighborhood

Located in one of the most beautiful small towns of Vermont with population of less than 1000 people this unique estate is located just 30 minutes from Mount Snow and 40 minutes to Stratton Mountain. The property is 20 minutes from Grafton Village that offers cross-country skiing and tubing. For kids, Adams Family Farm, 20 minutes away, would offer feeding farm animals, goat milking, sleigh rides, and yarn spinning. Several golf clubs are minutes away, as are wineries and breweries to tour, lakes for fishing, rivers for trout and rafting, and a glass blowing studio. Each season has festivals and fairs, and nearby farms offer the freshest produce and eggs. If you are in a mood for cooking inside on a BBQ grill or dining outside in the nearby Tavern or glamorous Four Columns French restaurant in Newfane—the choice is yours.

In the summer enjoy, numerous hiking and cycling opportunities nearby. Bromley Sun Mountain Summer Park offers family adventures for a whole day of fun including New England’s longest zipline, Vermont’s longest waterslide raft ride, America’s longest triple-track Alpine Slide, climbing walls, mini-golf and much more.

The historic town of Manchester is also a short drive away. There you can enjoy many fine restaurants. You may also visit the highly rated Equinox Golf Resort and Spa in the center of town which offers a wide range of activities: Land Rover Experience Driving School offers full day of off-road driving instructions on the 80-acre purpose-built course. Green Mountain Falconry School offers a rare opportunity to handle a trained hawk. Orvis Fly Fishing School will show you how to best set up, select your fly, tie knots and more on fully stocked casting ponds and the Battenkill River. Orvis Shooting School offers beginning and experienced shooters new techniques based on the English Churchill technique. The complete shooting system is applicable to upland hunting, waterfowling, and sporting clays.

Other Things to Note:

*The home has a generator that powers the entire estate in the event of an outage!

*Please inform us of all events to be hosted at the home at the time of booking.

*The pool is open from mid-May to mid-October, and heated from mid-June to mid-September, weather depending. We heat the pool up to 82 to 84 degrees, which is the maximum our equipment can support.

*We book for one week, Saturday to Saturday, in summer (mid-June to last week in August)

*We have one outdoor security camera on the property, it looks down the driveway, and is there for your security and ours.
